'Access Services' Learning and Development Program is presented in partnership with University of the Pacific and the National Transit Institute. The improvement in skills and awareness is essential to improve the quality and effectiveness of specialized transportation services in Los Angeles County.
The Learning and Development Program is available to public or non-profit agencies and their employees/ affiliates (private sector applicants) providing specialized transportation in Los Angeles County. Most of these trainings are low or no cost and are subsidized by Access Services' CTSA Extension. We hope that you will take advantage of these trainings and join the growing family of LA County transit professionals that have found greater success through the networking and unique training opportunities!
TRAINING WORKSHOPS
Each year, Access Services’ CTSA Extension offers various specialized technical training workshops to Los Angeles County’s transit and paratransit operators. More than 500 participants from social service agencies, fixed route transportation providers, Adult Day Healthcare Centers, and specialized transportation service providers have attended these workshops.
