Transit And Paratransit Management Certificate

Access Services, in partnership with the University of the Pacific, is pleased to present a Transit and Paratransit Management Certificate program that is targeted to meet the professional development needs of Transit and Paratransit employees who are candidates for management positions and for current or existing managers who would like to enrich their management skills. The course extensively covers principles of management, operations, budgeting and leadership in a transit context.

Access Services, in partnership with University of the Pacific, will host the Fall 2019 series of Transit and Paratransit Management Certificate Program.

The nine series of classes provide key management and industry essentials for transportation professionals. Attendees will gain thorough understanding of management principles including marketing, risk management, human resources, operations, financial management and leadership. Class size is limited to allow participants an opportunity to interact with each other and the instructors. University of the Pacific requires attendees to attend eight of the nine classes to receive a Transit and Paratransit Management Certificate. Please view the attached flyer for program outline.

Scholarships

  • Access Services offers the Joe King Memorial Scholarship to Providers employees or outside agency participants associated with the field of paratransit and who have been employed for two or more years to be eligible.
  • The scholarship covers 100% of the enrollment fees to the Transit and Paratransit Management Certificate Program.
  • Lodging, transportation, parking, meals or any other associated expenses are not compensated.
